JPMorgan Chase is Hiring a Home Lending - Correspondent Division Channel Director Near Fort Worth, TX

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Correspondent Division Director in Home Lending, you will manage the client coverage team and client relationships in the East region of the US. The role is responsible for partnering in the development and execution of the channel’s strategic roadmap to drive future growth while overseeing the management of the division. Individual must have established mortgage banking expertise, the ability to facilitate highly complex issues and opportunities between Chase and clients, and plays a key role in creating a culture of excellence and an environment that delivers a high standard of client service.

Job Responsibilities

Business Results

  • Execute strategy for Correspondent clients including coverage model, client segmentation and financial goals
  • Steer and manage the team to deliver against financial budgets and targets
  • Responsible for communicating pricing strategy to the team
  • Clearly communicate our vision, values, goals and initiatives. Remove obstacles and motivate the team to achieve our objectives and key results

Client/Customer Focus

  • Sustain a client centric coverage model, coordinating across the firm
  • Emphasize client mindshare and thought leadership around the innovation agenda through strategic marketing and client events
  • Serve as a senior focal point for strategic client discussions and escalations
  • Contribute to transformation with timely and well defined needs for Client Management to align with aggressive strategy to improve client experience and scalability

Teamwork & Leadership

  • Manage a team of diverse Client Relationship Managers to high levels of performance and client satisfaction
  • Proactively build and manage collaborative firm wide relationships with Home Lending/Chase products and other relevant partners (Operations, Pricing, Capital Markets, Finance, Strategy, Program Management, Transformation, Technology, Marketing, Compliance, Risk, Legal, etc.)
  • Proactively steer talent management holistically including career development, mobility, and succession planning

Risk & Controls

  • Ensure individual and team compliance with all applicable regulations and required trainings
  • Manage and meet the required regulatory deliverables
  • Responsible for identifying risks through interactions with all levels of the client and facilitating resolution in partnership with the Client Relationship Manager

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10 years Mortgage Banking experience with direct exposure to the following areas:
    • Sales Management
    • Capital Markets
    • Product development
    • Mortgage Finance
    • Mortgage Origination Operations (Underwriting, Processing, Loan Delivery)
  • Successful track record of driving new business development and senior relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate people including coaching, recruiting and retaining
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Mortgage Banking industry experience
  • Highly motivated and organized individual that can be effective working remotely (work-at-home) or working in a corporate office
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and commitment, as well as a strong business sense with a strategic, conceptual orientation
  • Proven analytical skills needed to analyze issues and opportunities and recommend solutions
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities
  • Travel required as necessary
