As a Genesys Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the [Consumer and Community Banking, Operations Technology/Voice team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s) including: Genesys Config/Management layers(DSCS knowledge), Routing layer, Interaction/SIP layer and Media layer, Composer strategy development includes ECMA Script, Web service blocks, DB blocks etc. and JAVA
• Experience working on Genesys Administrator, CME & GAX. Knowledge of GAX automation features for deployments.
• Expert in ORS Clustering and LRG Configurations ,Media components with MCP and RM integration experience. 
• Good knowledge on Genesys Rules system (Both GRE and cluster and GRAT cluster) along with Hands on experience on developing GRAT Rule templates, Rules Creation/modifications & Rule deployments.
• Hands on experience with very large-scale deployment of Genesys 8.5 - Framework, Configuration and Management & Routing
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to troubleshoot any complex issues around Genesys Config/management layers, routing layer, Genesys SIP, media server
• Exposure ICON/Info Mart, Cradle to Grave troubleshooting of Genesys call examples , Expert in Oracle SQL queries for troubleshooting purposes and deployments.
• Must have Genesys deployment experience on Linux platform with Shell Scripting expertise
• Knowledge on Eemaan Scripting or Genesys Config SDK scripting is add on.
• Experience in updating and maintaining Genesys Technical Design Specs.

• Working knowledge in the installation and configuration of the Genesys suites in windows is a plus.
• Knowledge on Cloud platform and their usability with respect to Genesys.AWS and Azure to Genesys integration knowledge.
• Knowledge on Genesys SIP Phone endpoint integration ,troubleshooting with Agent Facing apps like softphone/workspace desktop.
