As a Senior Principal Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology Engineering and Architecture Solution team, you provide deep engineering expertise and work across multiple corporate technology pillars to provide technology solutions to advance our data strategy. Some example areas: Portfolio Management, Reporting Strategy and implementation framework, Data Catalog, Data Observability. You will lead a small SWAT team to collaborate with other business facing teams and other LOBs cross JPMC to implement scalable, durable, reusable solutions.

Corp Technology Engineering and Architecture organization focus on Tech convergence, Toil Reduction, enhance observability and data transparency of entire CT tech estate and enable CT engineers to do the right thing efficiently.

Job responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key partners and business leaders to define business requirements and processes, make recommendations, and lead shaping of target state architecture and execution roadmaps.
• Work with technology teams and business stakeholders to provide trusted advice across strategy and implementation
• Advises and leads on the strategy and development of multiple products, applications, and technologies across a portfolio
• Creates novel code solutions and drives the development of new production code capabilities across teams and functions
• Translates highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to leadership to drive the firm’s innovation and enable leaders to make strategic, well-informed decisions about technology advancements
• Drives adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
• Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that are leveraged across teams and functions
• Influences across business, product, and technology teams and successfully manages senior stakeholder relationships
