You will partner with Technology and the CCB Finance Data Mart team to design and deliver data domains into the Databricks powered Data Mart that brings together essential data categories which will enable the PXT Finance functions to support their analytical and reporting needs. You will be part of the PXT Reporting and Insights Product team that works with stakeholders within PXT Finance and across the CCB Finance Product Organization to understand their needs and make data discoverable and available to provide insights and empower decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, data integration, and data warehousing, as well as strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and ensure alignment with the organization's objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesUtilizing Databricks and ThoughtSpot tools, create a robust and efficient reporting environment for PXT Finance data analytics and reporting.Design and implement comprehensive and efficient data mart schemas that consolidate key data categories from various source systems, tailored to the needs of the PXT Finance & Business Management functions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and technical specialists, to gather and analyze business requirements.Develop, implement, and optimize data workflows, Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, and data pipelines using Databricks.Work closely with your business domain Product teams and business stakeholders to: 1) design and develop insightful reporting and analytics solutions that drive informed decision-making; 2) apply design led thinking to meet their needs, including making data discoverable and accessible for analytical needs.Maintain up-to-date documentation on data mart architecture, data models, ETL processes, and data governance policies.Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in data warehousing, data integration, and data management, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.Required qualifications, capabilities and skillsMinimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and data integration, with a focus on the retail banking or financial services industry.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or related disciplineExperience with Databricks, Snowflake, or other Cloud Data WarehouseExpertise in designing and implementing scalable and efficient data mart architectures, including star schema, snowflake schema, and other data modeling techniques.Strong knowledge and experience with data management, data lineage, data dictionaries, and making data discoverableProven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex data projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong written and verbal communication skillsSQL, Data Modeling, ERWINPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skillsStrong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)AWS CertificationsExperience on market leading data catalog systemsThoughtSpot, Tableau, Alteryx, or Essbase experienceRequired soft skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong command of the English language (written and verbal)Team playerThis role is not a remote position and does not have a relocation allowance tied to it, so all candidates must be local to Columbus or Wilmington or willing to relocate on their own immediately upon hiring.Candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH or Wilmington, DE offices 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week.
