The Pricing & Billing Product Team is a dedicated team of project resources focused on large scale change initiatives to address billing and pricing requirements with a primary objective to implement billing solutions across Securities Services. The group provides a unique mix of project skills and product experience enabling it to provide a consistent, high-quality and responsive approach to the way we manage and execute change across the firm.

Job Summary:

The Pricing and Billing team is focused on performing front-to-back reviews of Securities Services products and operations with the aim of streamlining straight through billing processing via technology development and ensuring proper (and accurate) end to end billing of all services through improvements in operational workflows. The team is expected to coordinate closely with operations and technology to construct a plan of remediation that addresses the billing function challenges and lays out an agreed upon roadmap that can shared with the wider product areas for review and buy in.

As a result of the proposed cross product efforts focused on streamlining both the Billing operations and technology landscape, we are seeking a candidate who will have responsibility for driving data analytics, coordinating with our billing partners to determine execution/planning approach and constructing/delivering outbound communication channels to stakeholders to ensure buy in & commitment.

You will be part of a global team delivering key aspects of the analysis, implementation & communication phases of the overall billing remediation program. Will also participate/support other program activities including: interviewing/consulting with management and product partners, detailing and understanding business functions/process flows, sourcing & constructing MIS to support management meetings and governance forums, and agreeing implementation plans with the operations and technology partners related to project execution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with P&B team & global partners across Securities Services to define current billing processes, system and organizational landscape and identify key challenges and opportunities.
  • Mining and analysing data to identify trends and areas of opportunity (i.e.: business case development & confirmation) to help support recommendations for operational and technology improvements.
  • Develop and document front-to-back business process flows and business requirements (where necessary).
  • Provide status updates to broader team and senior managers via various billing governance forums.
  • Effective communication & coordination of all change ensuring that the relevant business, operations and technology stakeholders are engaged and that all issues and risks are identified and escalated

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 2 years of experience in a financial service role, management consulting, operations or technology environment, with a focus in strategy, change and/or project management
  • Previous experience of large strategic programs from an Investment Bank, Corporate Bank or Management Consultancy background desirable

  • Effective presentation skills and advanced MS Office user
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently; able to influence internal and external stakeholders; confidence in communicating with senior management
  • Ability to work under pressure and to set/achieve project milestones within deadlines
