Job Summary 

Asset Management is a leading investment manager of choice for institutions, financial intermediaries and individual investors, worldwide. The division offers investment management across all major asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, multi-asset and money market funds. For individual investors, the business also provides retirement products and services, brokerage and banking services including trusts and estates, loans, mortgages and deposits. 

In this role, you will be doing a mix of project management and business analysis to help migrate investment middle office services from Asset Management to the Corporate Investment Bank. This an exciting opportunity to be a part of a high profile, multi-year project.

Job responsibilities

• Analysis of existing processes and operating models, with presentation to senior management on recommendations of process improvements and efficiency
• Help in the coordination of migrating accounts to our Corporate Investment Bank.
• Engage with key stakeholders to help understand their business, and be able to articulate the challenges and opportunities from the migration to the new platform.
• Schedule regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure the project is completed in-line with agreed dates, and maintain stakeholder awareness of the progress of the migration.
• Assist in mapping out the business impact and opportunities of moving to a global data reference platform.
• Escalation of issues in a timely manner and undertake necessary steps to ensure resolution and root cause analysis.
• Engage with key stakeholders and manage project work streams and all associated activities to support implementation of initiatives from the initiation phase through to post implementation review.
• Manage the strategic technology initiates as part of the wider project, as well as design and test any builds as part of the project. 
• Ability to analyse and document the requirements associated with the project as well as being able to articulate the deliverables to senior management.
• Assist where appropriate with client and third-party communication to ensure external stakeholders are made aware of the progress of the project.
• Ensure the development of end-to-end operating models are strategic and scalable where possible.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Asset Management or relevant Investment Banking experience desired.
• Strong financial product knowledge including Equity, Fixed Income, Currency, Derivatives and Funds Investment.
• Project Management/business analysis experience with the ability to manage initiatives end to end.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to build relationships with senior business stakeholders and Clients.
• Strong MS Office skills especially Excel.
• Disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused individual who is able to work independently where required.
• Familiarisation with project management tools e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio etc. to track project milestones and design functional procedures.
