Bring your expertise to Global Screening Operations (GSO), a firm-wide utility responsible for all transaction, message and client list screening at JPMorgan across all lines of business. GSO works closely with Compliance and the Lines of Business to ensure that the appropriate data and formats are submitted for screening, that the policies and procedures associated to the process support a robust and controlled sanction screening program and that all required transaction and client data is screened. GSO is always an audit-ready state from both internal and external auditors, including regulators. The team operates in multiple sites in a 24/7 day operating model: Manila, Mumbai, Singapore, Hyderabad, Delaware and Tampa are the core sites, and work closely with other screening departments around the globe.

As a Sanctions Screening Change Execution Business Analyst II in the GSO Change Execution team, you will be responsible for leading and executing the delivery of GSO strategic projects. You will be driven by transformation and client demand, these are critical initiatives which require flawless execution to prevent Operational, LOB and client impact. The solutions you deliver are highly visible and impactful, which places a high expectation and premium on performance and results.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and provide business analysis to onboard new (or changes to existing) LOB screening data feeds
  • Work with Technology, Operations and Compliance to deliver the Onboarding book of work
  • Assess and provide status and collaborate on solving risks/issues and establishing "path to green" solutions
  • Perform pre-implementation tasks required to support change events impacting the Transaction Screening Utility
  • Define operating model, implementing procedures and SLAs, and facilitating training globally
  • Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholder groups across lines of business
  • Create and deliver executive level presentations and updates

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills 

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of project and program management discipline and standards
  • Knowledge and experience within the Payments space; lifecycles and supporting control services
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder, budget and risk management
  • Experience with Jira issue tracking, demand and defect management (post implementation validation and support)
  • Strong communication, problem solving skills and a high aptitude for learning
  • Prior experience as a business analyst and project manager
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills
  • Strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills
  • Strong partnership record and ability to build effective business relationships

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills 

  • Functional knowledge of the Sanctions process 
  • Extensive knowledge and experience utilizing the Microsoft office suite, Tableau 
  • Experience working and partnering with Risk, Audit and Compliance 
  • Experience working within an Agile development lifecycle
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
