Job Summary: 

As a Loan Origination Specialist, you will be responsible for the review of approvals, documentation and the due diligence to ensure Small Business loans are closed in accordance with the approval as well as documentation preparation to avoid any risk to the client or the bank.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Reviews commercial credit application packages for adherence to credit policy and determination of appropriate due diligence necessary to ensure proper collateral position
• Reviews the following: business entity and organizational documents to include trust agreements, good standing of business entities, and Uniform Commercial Code searches, as required
• Coordinates obtaining or ordering and reviews: equipment valuations, as well as other reports and information
• Evaluates all reports and information received with respect to collateral evaluation & verification to determine if terms and conditions of the credit approval will be met.
• Prepares the loan documentation and compliance documentation necessary to protect the bank's interest, as necessary

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: 

• 1 years of experience preparing commercial loan, Small Business Administration, or mortgage loan documents required 
• Experience with collateral and entity due diligence related to commercial loans is preferred 
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and Personal Computer skills
• Able to communicate well and work independently in a high volume, production-oriented environment.
• College degree, paralegal, or equivalent work experience
