JPMC Candidate Experience page is Hiring a J.P. Morgan Wealth Management- Vice President, Business Support Operations Manager Near Westerville, OH

 As the Vice President of the business Support Operations Manager will lead the Business Support/Control program for the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Client Service Center. Your primary focus is on fostering strong connections with businesses we support while implementing quality control measures to align with Regulatory requirements. This role involves understanding the business expectations, conducting quality assessments, and addressing concerns promptly. The Operations manager collaborates with internal teams to implement improvements, oversees adherence to quality standards, and plays a pivotal role in issue resolution. Effective communication, and an in-depth knowledge of lead generation, investment trading processes and investment account servicing are essential for success in this position. Operations Manager will partner with the Control Manager on all things within CORE, Issue Management and Regulatory Notices/ Legal Obligations. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and/or drive change within team through effective communication and adaptability.
  • Work directly with Control Manager to ensure CORE is up to date with current Processes, Risk & Controls
  • Lead control evaluations with Centralized Control Evaluation Team
  • Collaborate with teams to implement process improvements and enhance overall quality.
  • Establish thresholds and triggers for Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
  • Audit Liaison
  • Lead Exam Ready program for team to ensure audit readiness and self-identify issues.
  • Create a culture of risk and control that acts with appropriate understanding and urgency; with ultimate responsibility to safeguard our customers and our business.
  • Provide responses to Legal Obligations/ Regulatory Notices
  • Conduct end to end Process reviews.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5 years of experience in the securities and investment industry 
  • Demonstrated ability to network, partner and influence leaders in various parts of the organization in order to move the business forward
  • Ability to balance producing strong results with proper risk management
  • Strong compliance record in previous position(s)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment; extremely organized and adaptive to change
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through; highly professional and experienced in creating and presenting information to large audiences at various levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) and various file manipulation skills
  • Strong commitment to upholding a sound risk and controls environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Control or Business Control Background preferred
  • FINRA Series 7 preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
