Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR), within the Risk Management and Compliance organization, is responsible for the design and execution of second line of defense firmwide oversight of compliance, conduct, and operational risk.

As a Technical Operations Risk Management Senior Officer, you will be responsible for working with other members of the 2nd Line of Defense to coordinate and execute independent assessment and oversight of the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Corporate Function with a focus on the Global Security. Incumbent’s will typically have had direct operational physical security, security and risk assessment, or risk/control execution experience in a previous first line role.

Job Responsibilities

• Leverage the CCOR Management Framework to independently Identify, Measure, Monitor, Manage, Report and Govern risks and controls within the CAO, including Global Security, through quantitative and qualitative assessment. 
• Identifying risk themes and escalating new or emerging risks including related to the firm’s global physical security environment. 
• Analyze metrics (KRIs/KPIs) reported to various committees and forums to assess risk and generate efficiencies. Perform global security monitoring, testing, issue management and thematic analysis. 
• Perform periodic independent reviews of the material risks that are identified by Lines of Business and Corporate Functions. Provide visibility into and assess natural and manmade threats and hazards that may affect firm assets.
• Advise and provide credible challenge, as appropriate, to the 1LOD on operational risks associated with new and existing products, services, and activities, and assessing adherence to policies and standards.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other CCOR teams to ensure comprehensive consideration of dependencies and related risks and controls. 
• The successful candidate will prepare and deliver written and verbal communications on risk and control assessment results to senior audiences within the firm.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Security, Criminal Justice, Finance, Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 years of professional experience related to physical security, risk management, audit, compliance or related discipline.
• High proficiency in data analysis, reporting and use of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Confluence.
• Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communications.
• High degree of motivation, initiative, self-direction, and excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships.
