Associate Bankers work primarily to complement their banking team, but also function semi-independently to introduce our comprehensive solutions to government clients and prospects. In this role you will assist bankers and treasury management officers in the acquisition and growth of state and local governments within the Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries target space.
Our Government Associate Bankers are required to have working knowledge of our solutions including, but not limited to: Treasury Services, Commercial Card, Merchant Services, and Credit. Our strongest Associate Bankers have a methodical approach to relationship management and prospecting to identify needs and recommend the appropriate banking services.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
3 years with above average performance results in a similar banking role or related experience.
Outstanding professional reputation and integrity
Strong leadership skills required
Demonstrated ability to work independently and develop and maintain internal and external relationships
Demonstrated ability to present to clients and prospects to create and retain new and profitable relationships
Extensive knowledge of products and services
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Bachelors degree preferred
Excellent problem solving, oral, and written communication skills
Superior knowledge of the market dynamics and its business environment preferred
