Job Description- Controller -Accounting
An Indianapolis area-based manufacturing operation has a Controller position available to lead the accounting functions at two operating locations. Two independent manufacturing companies recently merged into one holding company with locations in Indianapolis and Columbus IN. The two operations have different ERP systems but wish to consolidate to the same system. The two CNC Machining operations have over 50 employees. This is a full-time position in Indianapolis. The detailed job functions are listed below:
Job Functions:

• All aspects of Accounting in the ERP system
• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Payroll
• Period Closings (Monthly & Annually)
• Financial Reporting
• Budget and Forecasting
• General ledger management
• Account Reconciliation
• Cash Flow management
• Financing and Banking relations
• ASN and Daily shipment oversight
• Benefits Coordination and HR responsibilities

Requirements:

• Teamwork and communication skills
• College Degree or equivalent with a major in accounting.
• 5 years of experience in business operation and GAAP accounting.

Job Type: full time
Salary: From $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 based on experience
