Part Time shift Monday-Friday 12pm-6pm.
Support Teacher
The Joyful Jungle is seeking candidates for our Support teaching position. We are most interested in candidates who are positive, upbeat, and have a genuine love for children!
Qualifications-
Employees MUST:
- Have availability Monday-Friday
- Have a High school Diploma or equivalent
- Complete a Background Check
- Complete a TB test
- Have a passion for working with children
- Be at least 16 years of age (work permit required for under 18)
Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate!
Responsibilities-
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work in classrooms with children ages 6 wks-5yrs
- Ensure the daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards
- Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized
- Develop relationships with coworkers and build lasting relationships with families
- Ensure children are supervised AT ALL TIMES
- Implement potty training
- Follow along side your Lead Teacher in implementing daily routine and curriculum
- Relieve teachers for their breaks, and close out classrooms at end of day
