Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager - Omaha Branch

Company Overview:

Joyful Jobs is assisting an established exterior restoration contractor in recruiting a dynamic individual for the position of Omaha Branch/Sales Manager. This company specializes in guiding clients through the restoration process following weather-related damages, with a primary focus on roofing and siding replacement. The organization is locally owned and operated, based in Burnsville, MN, and is expanding its operations to launch a new office in Omaha, NE.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Branch Establishment and Management:

  • Be the first employee responsible for establishing and managing the new Omaha branch from the ground up and quickly growing a team.

  • In collaboration with owners and senior leadership, develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for the Omaha branch, outlining short-term and long-term goals, by utilizing the company’s proven and established strategies as well as your knowledge of the industry and local market.

  • Establish and maintain all operational processes and procedures for the branch.

  • Collaborate with leadership to set up the physical office space, including necessary equipment and technology.

Team Development and Growth:

  • Recruit, hire, and train a team of door-to-door field representatives for the Omaha branch.

  • Develop and deploy standardized onboarding and training procedures.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to foster the growth and advancement of field representatives.

  • Ensure alignment with the company's Core Values.

Sales and Financial Results:

  • Lead and drive revenue growth in the Omaha branch, meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the Omaha market.

  • Lead Saturday Sales blitz initiatives to maximize sales opportunities.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for field representatives in Omaha, addressing deficiencies and recognizing high performers.

  • Support field representatives in Omaha with adjustments and customer interactions as needed.

  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing production support throughout project completion.

  • Maintain updated job central app through biweekly meetings with Omaha-based Field Representatives.

Company Culture Advancement:

  • Acknowledge, encourage, and reward positive behavior within the Omaha branch.

  • Host frequent meet-ups with the sales team in Omaha during the week and organize biweekly group events throughout the season.

  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to provide ongoing coaching content shared at sales meetings across locations.

  • Actively participate in larger team events that foster a positive and inclusive company culture.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the budget for the Omaha branch.

  • Monitor expenses and financial performance to ensure the branch operates within established financial goals.

  • Collaborate with leadership on financial forecasting and reporting.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform any additional duties as assigned from time to time, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base annual salary (based on experience), with a realistic possibility of $250,000 total compensation annually, dependent on your team's results.

  • Annual performance bonus (2-3% of your team's sales).

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Sales Manager supervising door-to-door field representatives.

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.

  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role.

  • Extensive experience in branch or office management, preferably in a start-up or expansion setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and lead a successful team.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Aptitude for problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Ability to perform basic math functions.

  • Strongly preferred: prior experience in the restoration, roofing, and siding industries.
