Teacher will be teaching Music to children ages 0-6 years. Teacher must have a degree in Music teaching. Experience working with children ages 0-6 years old in group settings ideal. You will be teaching music classes to these ages in group class settings with care givers taking the class with their child. This is a professional music class geared for the learning style of infants up to age 6. Teachers will be required to complete the 12 hour training through Musik garten to become certified. A teacher already certified with Musik garten of course is fantastic! Otherwise, new teachers will be expected to pay for this training and certification before their classes can begin with Joy Music Studios. The cost of certification training, which is good for life once obtained, is $250-$600 depending how many levels the teacher chooses to become certified in. All levels ages 0-6 years of course would be recommended as you will be certified to teach all levels then.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Baby and Toddler Teacher to join our music teaching team at Joy Music Studios in St. Cloud, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children and working with parents. This teacher will be able to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking official Musik Garten virtual training before beginning to teach these classes. Musik Garten is the program we use, in order to teach their curriculum, every teacher needs to be certified. This certification lasts for life. You can be certified in one age level up to all of the ages. Ages 0-6 years old. This cost will be out of pocket for each teacher as it is an investment toward your future musical career that you keep the education no matter where you go in life. The cost is $250-$600 total to be certified through musik garten and requires about 12 hours of total training time. Once you have made this investement in yourself, you will begin teaching live classes at Joy Music Studios, implementing lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and providing guidance to students through this Musik Garten curriculum and songs.

Responsibilities:

• Become certified through musik garten
• Adequately be able to lead a class through all musik garten songs and activities
• Supervise children in the classroom and care givers
• Establish and redirect with music activities when children get unruly to keep their attention
• Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress.
