Jovie is Hiring an Event Child Care Worker Near Edina, MN

Engaging | Creative | Flexible Jovie is looking for experienced caregivers to provide care for local events on weekdays and weekends in and around the metro area. This position would typically be between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm with some starting later and some ending earlier. Care is typically for multiple children and is hosted at a hotel or event center with other sitters. We provide games, activities, and food for the children, you bring the fun! This job is super flexible, and you are able to sign up for the events you would like typically a few weeks ahead of time. Our busiest times are typically between the months of June and December.
Compensation Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly wage: starting at $20/hour
  • Flexibility to work around a school schedule if you are a student or other gigs if you are a gig economy worker or on call at your current position
  • Paid training professional development (including CPR/First Aid certification)
  • Work within 15-20 miles of your home!
What We Look For:
  • Have 2 years of experience working with children, preferably with ages 0-12 years
  • Have a reliable vehicle that can get you to and from the shifts
  • You’re already CPR/First Aid Certified or willing to be
  • Able to pass a background screen
  • Live in and around the metro area
  • Please note that during this time of COVID-19, Jovie expects all employees to follow CDC guidelines and ensure best hygiene practices when working and in their personal time. Our clients are following these recommended guidelines cautiously and conservatively and expect the caregiver to do the same to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible
