A bit about us: We are a loving and close-knit family residing on Mercer Island, consisting of mom, dad, two dynamic boys who are 7 and 12 years old, along with our furry friend, Sunny the Golden Retriever. Our family is on the go, embracing adventure and pursuing the boys' diverse interests, from sports like baseball and soccer to music, with piano playing a significant role. Our youngest son, who is mildly on the autism spectrum, brings his unique perspective and interests, while our eldest son thrives in Latin and history. Both boys are responsible and independent, generally needing simple reminders to stay on top of their responsibilities. We are seeking an energetic and reliable nanny to join our bustling family dynamic.

Job Duties: Your role as our after-school nanny involves creating a smooth and organized routine for our sons. The afternoons kick off with picking them up from school and ensuring they have snacks and essentials ready for their various activities, be it baseball practice, piano lessons, or other interests. Mom will likely help divide and conquer, taking one kiddo to an activity while you are with the other (should their activities be at different locations) Driving will be a significant aspect, using the family vehicle provided. During their activities, please help encourage them to stay engaged positively, especially for our youngest, providing gentle support. Additionally, light household tasks such as dog walks, kids' laundry, and errands can be included if you're looking for additional hours and responsibilities.

Start Date: As soon as the right fit nanny can start!

Location: Mercer Island, 98040

Position Highlights: Excellent pay package, fantastic city location, guaranteed hours, accrued PTO, accrued sick time, and long-term outlook!

Qualifications: 2 years of experience, safe driving record, CPR/First Aid certification, comfortable with Epi-Pen usage (in case of allergy emergencies), Covid-vaccinated, and glowing references from recent nanny positions.

Schedule: M-F 3:00 pm – 6/7:00 pm (flexible for additional hours, earlier start time to assist with household support, if desired!) 

Pay: $30-35 an hour

**All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
