Job Description:

As a Group Facilitator, you will be at the forefront of our treatment program, leading and facilitating group sessions that empower individuals on their path to recovery. Your creativity, empathy, and dedication will play a pivotal role in helping our patients achieve their treatment goals.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and implement activities within the treatment program to facilitate patient progress with treatment goals.
• Develop and lead an activities program that includes therapeutic leisure skills, leisure education, and leisure awareness.
• Facilitate and lead activity sessions aimed at improving patient mental and physical well-being through wellness and fitness activities.
• Instruct patients in activities and techniques designed to meet their specific needs, working in conjunction with their treatment plan.
• Develop and implement activity interventions that align with patient needs and help them achieve their treatment goals.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards coworkers and patients at all times.
• Conduct psychoeducational groups as needed.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and coworkers.
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in leading group sessions or therapeutic activities is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.
• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a diverse team.
• Ability to adapt and tailor activities to meet individual patient needs.
