Jostens is Hiring a Supervisor Distribution Near Laurens, SC
- Technical Experience: Oracle experience preferred.
- Strong Organization Proven problem-solving skills: Root cause analysis, Fish bone techniques, etc. Ability to establish a solid understand of the department’s operating procedures and business needs. Must be key metrics driven and able to understand and communicate metrics. Ability to make clear, direct and concise decisions based on data/fact driven information.
- Great Communication Skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience. Three (3) years’ leadership experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Education. High school diploma/ GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Plan and organize workflow to meet safety, scheduling, quality and cost guidelines
- Participate in team meetings to support the two-way communication delivered by team leaders.
- Staff area according to production needs.
- Administer training of area employees and report trainee progress
- Measure, analyze and communicate key performance indicators (safety, quality, production and missed shipments)
- Work directly with team leaders and employees to identify problems and issues. With team leaders and employees use problem-solving tools to solve issues and then implement solutions
- Provide formal and informal performance feedback through direct communication with employees and utilizing the performance appraisal review process
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are current and followed in the department
