Position: Full-Time Retail Fish packing Social Media Content Creator

Are you a creative and customer-focused individual with a passion for seafood and social media? Join our team at Josephson's Smokehouse, a family-owned business with over 103 years of history, known for the finest specialty seafood in Astoria, Oregon.

Responsibilities:

As a Full-Time Retail and Social Media Content Creator, you'll have a dynamic role that combines retail and social media content creation. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Retail:

• Provide exceptional customer service, including product information and sales transactions using our Square POS system.
• Assist in serving chowder, lox on a bagel, and other specialty items.
• Work collaboratively with another team member in retail, during breaks focus would be social media content creation.

2. Fish packing

• Working with finished product putting it in vacuum pack bags and labeling.
• Stocking the retail cases.

3. Social Media Content Creation:

• Use your creativity to produce engaging and visually appealing content.
• Film and edit content using an iPhone to showcase our seafood products.
• Manage social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends and strategies.
• Increase our social media following and engage with customers effectively.

Qualifications:

• Retail experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Experience in content creation.
• Proficiency in writing engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers.

Schedule:

• Four to Five days a week.
• Hours: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm.

Compensation:

• $18 per hour.
• Retailers have the opportunity to earn tips.
