Temporary Construction AP/AR Specialist (May 2024 - September 2024)

We have an immediate opening for an energetic, hardworking AP/AR Specialist to join our growing Construction office on a temporary basis. The person in this role will be 100% on site and responsible for assisting the Accounting team with various accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career path or expand in the field of Construction Accounting. This position could lead to a permanent position after September 2024 in many different opportunities within our Company as you gain experience and as we continue to grow.

Duties Include but not limited to:

-Gathering customer information for and submitting preliminary notices

-Researching and submitting Releases to customers

- Reconciling vendor invoices, managing credits to accounts and entering in QuickBooks

-Entering subcontractor invoices in QuickBooks for payment.

-Receiving payments from customers - entering checks in QuickBooks, making bank deposits electronically and processing credit card payments

-Following up on past due accounts

Programs that will be used: QuickBooks, DTS, Outlook

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and eager to learn. Experience is preferred, but not necessary. We are looking for is someone with a can do attitude that enjoys a fast paced environment.

This is an hourly position with pay depending on experience.
