Position Summary

Responsible for the safe operation of Equipment including Landfill Compactors, Dozers, Excavators,
Off Road Rock Trucks, Tarping machines, Track and Wheel Loaders and plastic pipe fusion welding equipment Perform labor tasks as required.

Principle Responsibilities:

Perform Daily Maintenance Tasks on Equipment including checking fluids, greasing and tracks mtc.
Operate equipment in a safe manner
Perform daily operational tasks as directed by landfill foreman
Move and place accepted trash in safe manner consistent with operational norms
Process, load, haul and place cover dirt
Assist with landfill piping activities
Assist with rain-cover deployment and repairs

Physical Requirements

Must be able to coordinate eyes, hands and feet in order to safely operate equipment
Must be able to work in a physical environment that involves dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
Must be able to maintain balance when walking on steep slopes
Must be able to carry, push, and pull up to 75lbs
Must be able to climb, kneel or crawl

Qualifications

PA Drivers license
Must be 18 years old
Some type of equipment operating experience preferred
Must be punctual

Pay: $20.00 - $23.25 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
