Your Role
This role is a Portfolio Management Software Developer, Vice President at Jordan Park, reporting to the Head of Investment Strategy. The individual would be a member of the Investment Strategy team, which is responsible for top-down portfolio construction and asset allocation, for macroeconomic and capital markets research, and for portfolio implementation and rebalancing using our proprietary client portfolio management tools.
The Investment team has developed a set of proprietary web-based tools that are used and relied on daily by multiple teams across the firm including for: rebalancing portfolios (trading team), portfolio analytics (analysts and client coverage teams), monitoring portfolios (compliance and investment team), etc. These tools are supported by a small team of engineers and database experts, who all contribute to designing, building, testing, and communicating with users. This individual will play a critical role on this small team in our efforts to enhance and support these web-based tools.
This role will take meaningful responsibility for our web-based portfolio management tools, including supporting existing applications, improving functionality (design, build, test, deploy), and interacting with various users to solve problems. The individual will maintain and upgrade the application code as well as the web UI, striving for a balance between responsiveness and reliability of our applications. The role also involves mentoring and coaching junior members of the Investment Technology team.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits and other perks. We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.
The expected base salary for this role in San Francisco, California will range from $150,000 - $250,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
