Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. Responsibilities: - Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules - Patrol assigned areas on foot or vehicle to ensure security - Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances - Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences - Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons - Warn persons of rule infractions or violations Requirements: - Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position - Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety - Familiarity with report writing - Excellent surveillance and observation skills - Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems operation - Trained in First Aid and CPR - Certification in security-related fields such as CCTV operation, conflict management, loss prevention, or law enforcement is a plus
