Jonesboro Country Club is accepting applications/resumes for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the grounds maintenance department.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance and repair functions in one or more crafts or trades. The Facilities Maintenance Technician must be capable of performing the duties in his/her craft or trade and will have sufficient working knowledge of all general maintenance crafts and trades to perform these duties with a minimum of supervision.

Reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent this position is responsible for all preventative maintenance and the general appearance and functionality of all JCC facilities. This position is a hands-on working maintenance position that will require maintenance

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performs general preventative maintenance for all facilities including but not limited to, Clubhouse, Tennis Center, Pool Pavilion, Halfway House and grounds
• Change HVAC filters
• Painting
• Power washing exterior of all buildings
• Changing of light bulbs when needed
• Anything else as requested by the General Manager or Golf Course Superintendent

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Prior facilities maintenance experience is required for this position
• Self-starter
• Effective time management
• General knowledge of electrical and plumbing
• Early morning start times

Physical requirements of the position:

• Will work in all areas of a building such as roofs, attics, crawl spaces
• Must be able to work and/or inspect in wet, damp, hot, cold or dusty spaces
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs on occasion
• Must be able to push, pull, carry, lift, crouch and climb
• Must be able to work in all types of weather including heat, rain, snow, ice and cold

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
