Jones Property Management is Hiring a Landscape Technician Near Knoxville, TN

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in various landscaping tasks and a strong attention to detail. Duties: - Perform garden maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and fertilizing - Assist with snow plowing and removal during winter months - Design and install landscape features, including hardscape elements - Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants - Mow lawns and maintain turf areas - Utilize hand tools and power equipment for landscaping tasks - Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns - Provide recommendations for improvements to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor spaces Requirements: - Previous experience in landscaping or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of various landscape techniques and practices - Familiarity with operating hand tools and mechanical equipment - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions - Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.
