Fountain/Aeration Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN, 46214

Skills: Service Technician, Small Motor Repair

Role and Responsibilities:

Perform routine small motor maintenance, such as replacing mechanical seals and sacrificial parts
Installation of new lake fountains and pond aerations systems in the field
Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans/progress, and work performed with customers
Test and inspect for malfunctioning parts
Adjust components according to specifications
Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts in accordance with manufacturer specs
Reassemble and reinstall components and motors following repairs
Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used
Stay up-to-date with various products and technologies to ensure Jones Lake Management is leading the industry on systems
Protect and safeguard all Company assets (vehicles, product, etc.)
Various other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Degree in related field or applicable experience desired
Post Secondary trade schooling a plus

Problem Solving
Solid Verbal/Nonverbal Communication

Special Requirements:

Must possess a valid Driver’s License with an excellent driving record
Must be able to work weekends
