Jones Eye Clinic is a busy ophthalmology practice serving the region for more than 53 years with innovative surgical and medical eyecare. We seek to hire a full time Medical Ophthalmic Assistant to work with our doctors in a clinical setting.

Job description:

Make a difference in patients' lives every day with hands on directed patient care including: medical histories, scribing, and visual and diagnostic testing of patients. Development path includes the opportunity to become certified in our field.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred
• Verifiable employment references required
• Good computer skills - EHR experienced preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills required
• Keen interest for learning and attention to detail
• Able to work as a team member

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
