The Plant Maintenance assists and leads in setting up, installing, and repairing all ground areas of the company. This position maintains machinery and equipment used to perform grounds maintenance.

Essential Functions:

· Works in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.

· Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment and determines the extent of the repairs needed.

· Coordinates and assists in the timely replacement of parts.

· Participates in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.

· Helps monitor supply of spare parts.

· Collects feedback on possible repairs and improvements.

· Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

· Performs all types if repairs at Microwave Building, Main Office Building, Building 12, and the Scale Facility.

· Performs mig and stick welding processes.

· Uses oxy/acetylene torches, plasma cutters, and miscellaneous corded and battery operated hand tools.

Qualifications: Must have an high school degree or equivalent. Preferably one year of maintenance experience.
