Gompers Junior High School (4-7) PROGRAM DETAILS :
The Joliet Public Schools District 86 Summer School is a full-day summer school (Monday-Thursday) for current D86 students in grades K-7. The schedule is designed to support reading, mathematics, and physical education. Library, STEAM, skills, and Standards practice are included. Applicants must be qualified to work in the office in a school-wide Summer School Program. Candidates must be available to attend the professional development sessions and to work the entire summer school program, June 3 -July 18, 2024. RESPONSIBILITIES :
Maintain attendance. lunch counts, and contact records to provide reference to the appropriate school staff and district staff as required.
Files written materials to convey information regarding students to the school.
Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, families, employees, issues, and situations that occur while performing job functions.
Answers phones, complete attendance records, and other office functions in a professional and friendly manner.
Daily communication with parent/caregiver when the child is absent from school.
Communicate with transportation and other departments to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students.
Uses office machines and software to include multiple line telephones, voicemail, document shredder, computer, email, Internet, scheduler, contact listings, copier, printer, fax machine, electric stapler, Google Drive, Aspen, etc.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the administrator.
