Experienced Material Handler Wanted for our Sarasota / Bradenton Warehouse:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse, as well as performing unloading of LTL shipments, order filling, kitting, inventory transfers, LTL freight pallet building and shipping, small parcel shipping, quality control, cycle counting, inventory record keeping, operating various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks and managing inventory using QuickBooks inventory management software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unloading of LTL shipments and receiving of incoming stock and materials
• Pick and fill orders from stock.
• Pack and ship orders to the appropriate locations.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
• Perform kitting, assembling, and packaging of products.
• Build LTL freight pallets and prepare small parcel shipments.
• Perform inventory transfers and cycle counting.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in physical inventory counts.
• Utilize QuickBooks inventory management software for stock management and reporting.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform quality control checks on all products and shipments.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods and read and record measurements with a measuring tape.
• Must be able to work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Experience in unloading LTL shipments, order filling, kitting, inventory transfers, LTL freight pallet building and shipping, small parcel shipping, quality control, cycle counting, inventory record keeping and operating various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks and QuickBooks inventory management software.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50lbs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read and analyze Information.
• Strong Knowledge of inventory control
• Ability to lift heavy materials.
• Data entry skills
• Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
• Must have strong English language skills.
• Must be self-starter while working in a team environment.
• Must take initiative to plan and complete assignments.
• Must be able to work with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience with QuickBooks inventory management software is a plus.
