ROLE & TEAM

We are currently looking for a Junior Data Engineer (f/m/x) who will be crucial to supporting the company in relying on data and accomplish its data-driven strategy. You will be collaborating with both the data and analytics team and the back-end team on data extraction, transformation, and loading activities as well as on data quality initiatives. Finally, you will be asked to contribute to the documentation of ETL processes and flows, for clarity and compliance purposes

Here below are some examples of your core activities:

• Build, maintain and optimize data extraction pipelines from different sources (databases, web services, flat files, etc.).
• Transform raw data into format suitable for analysis purposes (data warehousing activities)
• Support the data and analytics team in implementing data quality initiatives.
• Produce documentation.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role

• You have experience in building and maintaining\optimizing an extraction pipeline in Azure Data Factory (with a focus on Dynamics 365, web API, feed, and blob storage as main data sources).
• You are confident with SQL\Python for data manipulation and data warehousing purposes.
• A basic knowledge of Databricks would be desirable.
• Experience with Power Query would be desirable.
