About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician assistant to join our team. As a physician assistant at Joint Relief Institute, you will play an essential role in helping patients with joint pain and arthritis find relief through our cutting-edge treatments and therapies. You will work in collaboration with our physicians and healthcare team to provide exceptional care to our patients and be involved in their evaluation of joint pain and arthritis to determine the best course of treatment. Location: Greater Minneapolis 

Required Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Pay: $90,000-$100,000

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, diagnose, and treat patients under the supervision of a physician.
• Provide exemplary patient care.
• Conduct viscosupplementation using the latest technology and the newest clinically researched products. 
• Conduct diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and MRIs, to determine the extent of joint damage.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and record patient progress, documenting notes in EMR.
• Conduct consults and follow-up appointments.
• Work collaboratively with staff and other healthcare professionals, including physical therapist referrals, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate and counsel patients about their treatment plans, including self-care, exercises, and medication guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulations, as well as healthcare laws and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest research and treatment options for joint pain and arthritis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant program.
• Hold an NCCPA certification. 
• Current Physician Assistant license for the state of Minnesota.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified.
• At least 2 years experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in orthopedics, pain management, or sports medicine.
• Excellent knowledge of medical procedures, conditions, and diagnostics.
• Experience with ultrasound-guided joint injections is preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and strongly commit to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Joint Relief Institute does not sponsor H or J Visas.
