IT Support Technician Role Overview:
The IT Support Technician will work under the guidance of the IT Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day end user support.
Essential Characteristics and Responsibilities:
·Ability to understand, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve desktop/laptop issues.
·Configure, install, monitor and maintain end user mobile devices and chrome books.
·Configure and install user software as needed.
·Configure, install and support end user peripherals such as printers, web cams, etc.
·Ability to identify and troubleshoot network related issues.
·Familiar with the Microsoft suite of applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
·Familiar with iOS based mobile devices (iPhones/iPads).
·Reliable transportation and a clean license with the ability to travel within the county to resident homes to provide technical support as needed.
·All other duties as assigned by the IT Manager.
Qualifications:
(one of the below is required):
·High School diploma/GED AND A CompTia Net , A or Sec OR a Google IT Support certification plus at least 6 months in a prior IT position.
·An Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking or Information Systems or a related technology field.
·This position is open to anyone who meets the education requirements, regardless of experience! We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, driven and eager to be helpful!
Pay Rate for this position is $20 - $25 per hour.
