Essential Job Functions
Directs, implements and monitors the university’s outcomes assessment initiatives for academic programs
Organizes and facilitates the curriculum approval process for new and existing academic courses and programs, including coordinating with academic areas on catalog reviews
Directs the university’s internal academic program review process, including oversight for developing, revising, consolidating or discontinuing academic programs
Oversees and coordinates university initiatives related to specialty accreditation
Compiles, analyzes and disseminates data related to academic program effectiveness to assist with university planning, budgeting and decision making processes
Serves on institutional committees, advisory boards, professional groups and public relations bodies for best practice policy implementation
Contributes to institutional effectiveness assessment, strategic planning and program based curriculum planning and outcomes assessment
Collaborates with other university departments on the selection, implementation and ongoing use of technology systems for curriculum management and outcomes assessment
Assists with departmental budget
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a master's degree
Moderate amount of experience working in educational effectiveness, assessment, higher education administration or other related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree
Experience working as a faculty member in higher education
