Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer / Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of pipeline installation and maintenance, including digging and plumbing. Experience in water and gas pipelines is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Lay pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains
- Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing
- Dig trenches using hand tools or operate machinery such as backhoes
- Weld pipes together using various techniques
- Install and repair underground pipelines
- Assist in concrete forming for pipeline supports
- Locate utilities before pipe installation
- Operate front loader trucks and forklifts as needed
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation and live in central Indiana and report to our office in Bargersville, IN
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer or similar role
- Proficiency in blueprint reading for pipe installation
- Knowledge of commercial construction operations and trench digging
- Familiarity with plumbing techniques for pipeline connections
- Competency in operating various tools and equipment required for dirt work.
