This position is funded through the ESSER Grant. There is potential that this position may end when grant funding expires. The ESSER Grant is expected to last through the 2023/2024 School Year.

SUMMARYAssists teachers in performing their classroom teaching responsibilities.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Speak, read and write in English.One year of experience working with youth.High School Diploma or G.E.D.ANDCompletion of an AZ Dept. of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR Associate’s (or higher) degree OR Two-years (60 Semester-Hour credits) of study at an institute of higher learningPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Related training or educationADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE Copy of diploma, transcript or test results must be submitted at time of hire.FBI fingerprint background check.Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day Work Calendar: 9 month 

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
