The Technology Solutions Lead (TSL) is accountable for the development of solutions for a specific sector value stream and business partners through Scaled Agile delivery. The TSL will work in partnership with the Product Owner and Solution / Data Engineer to manage risk in the backlog and monitor and control the timelines and quality of deliverables. Working across multiple business technology and product line groups, the TSL will shape and deliver innovative solutions for our business, requiring strong technical and business acumen and the ability to shape technical solutions.
The person in this role will report to the Senior Manager, Technology Solutions Engagement and will be dedicated to the Advanced Therapies product group in Innovative Medicine. This role will be accountable for the development of Advanced Therapies, Innovative Medicine strategic programs, driving the execution of product roadmap and will also serve as an advocate within Technology Services for Scaled Agile methodologies, processes, and rituals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Scaled Agile role, working close to Product Owners to manage priorities, conflicts, and risks in the backlog.
  • Manage schedule, impact risks and issues across Advanced Therapies product groups.
  • Escalate blocks and impediments.
  • Facilitate integrated tests (cross teams) and demos.
  • Drive process improvements, metrics, and measurements / reports.
  • Align on program goals & objectives with Engagement Manager role and leverage product team members supporting the program globally.
  • Establish and communicate the release calendars.
  • Facilitate Scrum of Scrums and other relevant Squad-level syncs.
  • Facilitates Change Control and Risk Management Processes.
  • Aggregate team objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency.
  • Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings.
  • Encourage collaboration between teams.
  • Work with other stakeholders to communicate objectives, risks, dependencies, and key milestones to help ensure strategy and execution alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement via workshops; assess the maturity level continuum of the program/value stream.
  • Work with architecture team to ensure that security and technical architectures are in line with the overall business needs and strategy.
  • Oversee delivery of business technology projects and the on-going operation of cohesive, integrated solutions with full JJT engagement.
  • Communicate within the technical and business environments with ability to interpret, develop and present information to multiple audiences.
Qualifications
Required:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant Information Technology experience OR a minimum of 5 years of relevant Information Technology experience.
  • Ability to effectively engage with a cross-section of colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Good relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Good written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated technical ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with all aspects of the product development lifecycle as well as Agile methodology.
  • Experience working with external partners to bring products/services to market.
  • Experience with regulated applications (GxP) and Technical Quality processes.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Salesforce platform.
  • Certifications in key processes and technologies, for example: Scaled Agile (SAFe, Nexus, Scrum), Salesforce, Digital Marketing, SAP, Ariba, Workday, etc.
  • Able to contribute with technical discussions (technical architecture, integrations etc).
  • Ability to work independently and influence without formal authority as needed
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000- $144,900.
