Position Overview

This position will provide comprehensive technical support to Johnson Energy Storage’s battery laboratory operations, Manufacturing Engineering and other site leadership team members. You will be responsible for providing a full range of technical solutions to experimental and manufacturing equipment and facility preventive maintenance.

You Will:

· Work with engineers to improve processes

· Proficient in hand tools, knee-mill, CNC and standard machine shop operation.

· Validate build process for new prototypes

· Understanding of fabrication, blueprint reading and drawing

· Support maintenance when needed during machine downtime.

· Help manage the Maintenance Management System

· Help manage process changes in the lab

· Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Your Experience Includes:

· Associates Degree in an Engineering Technology is preferred or equivalent relevant experience

· Experience with production line launches and process controls

· 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing or research and development environment

· Ability to perform failure investigation independently

· Good analytical skills and communicate effectively with all levels

Physical Demands:

· May work various shifts as needed;

· Lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.

· Able to walk, stand, crouch, bench, kneel, lift, carry and reach as needed in large and tight spaces.

Environmental Demands:

Wear protective clothing or respiratory protective equipment. • Works with irritant chemicals, gases, etc

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
