MATERIAL HANDLER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type and value of materials and parts stored in the warehouse.
Pull parts for kits for the production floor
Perform 5S inspections and develop corrective actions when needed.
Movement of piece parts from the production area and preparing goods for shipment to other establishments.
Employees will also perform tasks such as computer data entry, filing and other general office clerical functions.
All work is performed in accordance with established safety procedures and job instructions.
Position requires extensive standing and walking as part of normal job duties.
Position requires ability to work in a normal production plant environment.
What we look for:
Microsoft office, preferred.
Completion of high school or equivalent education plus additional education is required.
Analytical problem solver with good communication skills.
Forklift experience, a plus.
Experience with all safe practices, procedures, and overall processes.
Experience with Sheet Metal. Hardware, Electronics, and shop tools a PLUS
