Document Management Support Specialist
Reporting to the ED Director of Capital Improvements Program (CIP), or their designee, this position is responsible for the facilitation and overall operations of the planning documentation process.
Candidate will be required to attend in-person meetings/appointments as needed and required. Please note this position is not a standard 40-hour work week; as such remote flexibility will be given. Specific hours will be discussed during the selection and interview process.
The Education and Experience for this position includes:
• Associate degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Documented experience in AutoCAD (latest version, i.e., 2023) and possess AutoCAD license.
• Documented experience in project management and/or technical documentation.
• Documented experience in construction management/built world, including drafting and architectural design experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Takes initiative, detailed oriented, and is highly organized.
Document Management Support Roles and Responsibilities:
(Tasks may include the following and other related duties)
• Confirm receipt of each task within 24-hours and provide an anticipated task completion/delivery date.
• Manage the AutoCAD software operations, file structure, management, control and use.
• Create, coordinate, and manage technical markups, drawings, specifications, artwork, and samples.
• Create drawings for select space modifications, changes, renovations, etc.
• Other duties as determined by the program and departmental requirements.
