This individual will drive our recruitment efforts by sourcing and attracting top talent, managing the hiring process, and maintaining extensive knowledge of our company’s needs and culture. The ideal candidate has a talent-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in every interaction with potential candidates and hiring managers.

Responsibilities
  • Reports to: Vice President of Operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain motivated employees
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create detailed and accurate job descriptions
  • Post job openings on various platforms and monitor the flow of applications
  • Master the use of ATS platform like Jazz HR and Indeed for job postings, applicant tracking, and database management
  • Actively search for and engage with potential candidates on various platforms and social media sites
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and shortlist candidates for further evaluation
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring hiring managers and candidates are well-prepared
  • Manage logistics for interviews, including room bookings and technical setup
  • Prepare and extend job offers to select candidates
  • Coordinate with candidates to ensure all pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screening) are completed
  • Organize and facilitate the onboarding and orientation process, including paperwork, training schedules, and introductions to team members
  • Ensure new hires have all necessary materials and information to start their roles effectively
  • Conduct follow-ups with new hires to ensure a smooth transition and address any concerns
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee satisfaction and retention
  • Order and replenish employee uniforms and company branded supplies
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local schools, organizations, and job fairs to create a strong talent pipeline
  • Engage with the local community to promote the company as an employer of choice
  • Push the mission statement, values and branding of Johnson Comfort
What We Are Looking For
  • High School Diploma/GED is required
  • Relevant experience
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • High level of customer service
  • Telephone Etiquette
  • HVAC/plumbing industry knowledge a plus, but not required
  • Go-getter mentality and ambitious
  • High attention to detail and good organization skills
  • Good computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office
  • Positive attitude and winner mentality
