Job Description: The Outstate Hybrid Division is seeking to add a Wine and Spirits Sales Representative for the Brainerd and surrounding areas. Focus will be in the On-Premise (resort, bar, restaurant, hotel, pub, banquet facility, country/social club) sector. The job entails growing an established customer base with a moderate focus on opening new accounts within assigned territory through consultative sales. Sales are business to business oriented and results will rely heavily on candidate’s ability to quickly build relationships and dedication to servicing accounts. Compensation will be based on combination of salary, commission, and performance based bonuses. Position Requirements: ·Desire to sell and capacity to create professional presentations ·Prior sales experience in wine and spirits industry sales or in restaurants and hotels preferred ·Availability to work outside 8-5 schedule, as many accounts will be accessible best in early evening hours and occasional weekend events ·Be self - motivated/disciplined, goal oriented, timely, and have the ability to prioritize ·Be able connect well with large range of buyer types ·Professional written, oral, and electronic communication skills ·Must possess a reliable car, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a good driving record ·Have ability to lift 54 pounds from the ground and above 60 inches ·Team player attitude and actions ·Bachelor's degree highly preferred ·Residency in territory highly preferred (no relocation package) Who We Are and What You Can Expect: Johnson Brothers is a national family-owned wine, spirits and beer distributor with headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota.
