Johnson Animal Clinic is a thriving animal clinic in Hikes Point seeking an Licensed Veterinary Technician who enjoys a fast-paced environment. We are privately owned and take pride in our family-like atmosphere. Our goal is to be a practice where as a team, we make a positive impact on pet health care in our community. Duties would include but are not limited to: Assisting doctors with appointments and procedures, assisting in restraining pets when necessary, preparing medications, taking care of hospitalized patients, communicating on behalf of the doctors to clients and fellow staff members, assist in taking radiographs, taking blood draws, running in house and sending out labs, assisting with daily tasks etc. We take pride in providing compassionate care for our clients and their pets. The ideal applicant will have a can-do attitude, be able to multi-task and enjoy working with people and their pets. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able lift at least 50 lbs un assisted 50lb and over assisted, you will have to move and restrain large animals.
