Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth is Hiring a Summer 2024 Logic and Philosophy Teaching Opportunities Near Baltimore, MD

The Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY) is seeking instructors for our summer programs. CTY offers challenging academic programs for highly talented elementary, middle, and high school students from across the country and around the world. Positions are available at residential colleges and universities on the East and West coasts.

We are currently seeking individuals with expertise in a number of economics-related subjects, including:

· Logic: Principles of Reasoning in Los Angeles, CA

· Philosophy in Carlisle, PA

Desired Qualifications and Salary

· Instructor candidates are college professors or graduate students that have experience teaching their own course

· Responsible for teaching an appropriately challenging and rigorous course to approximately 18-20 highly able students (14-16 in Young Students classes); courses are offered in mathematics, science, and technology, writing, and humanities and social sciences. Salary: $3,757-4,638 per session.

Other positions such as Teaching Assistant are available.
