Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Vascular Surgery team. The ACNP will work collaboratively with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing vascular procedures and treatment for vascular conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage the healthcare needs of patients admitted to the vascular surgery service, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide patient and family education on vascular conditions, treatments, and self-care.
  • Participate in rounds, case conferences, and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Assist with procedures as needed and provide support during surgical interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maryland.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an ACNP in an acute care setting, preferably in vascular surgery.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
