The Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Zayed 3 Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (Prep/PACU) is a 43-bed unit that provides services to patients undergoing surgery and interventional radiology procedures such as cervical decompression fixation/fusion, open reduction internal fixation, microvascular decompression, kidney transplant, craniectomy, cerebral arteriogram, Intercranial embolization, and transarterial chemoembolization. Our unit supports the care being provided in 14 operating rooms, 8 interventional radiology rooms, and 2 CT rooms.
Our nursing team is comprised of autonomous, highly engaged, and expert professionals who are dedicated to deliver the highest quality of care and the ultimate experience to our patients!
Shifts: 12 hour night shifts. NO shift rotation. Minimal weekend and holiday on-call shifts.
