The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Neuroscience Critical Care Unit (NCCU), is a 24-bed ICU that is at the forefront of advancing neurological care, with a team committed to excellence, research, and the highest standards of patient outcomes. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our NCCU, you will be a vital member of the team and play a pivotal role in delivering specialized care to undergoing a diverse range of procedures and surgeries including craniotomies, shunts, spinal fusions, aneurysm clippings/coiling, etc. Our NCCU prides itself on being a center of excellence committed to delivering exceptional care to patients facing complex neurological disorders such as strokes (including post-tPa), ALS, Guillain-Barre, seizures, and more. This dynamic position provides a unique opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment where your skills and expertise will contribute to the advancement of neurocritical care. As an NCCU nurse, your roles and responsibilities will include conducting thorough neurological assessments of patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans based on the specific needs of each patient, and providing comprehensive education and support to patients and their families.

Applicants with an Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire
