The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Interventional Radiology Lab At Greenspring Station is an outpatient procedural suite that consists of 1 Interventional procedural room and two prep/recovery bays. Interventional Radiology Nurses provide care to outpatients requiring manually invasive procedures under fluoroscopy while receiving moderate sedation. Nurses oversee clinical management of patients pre, intra procedure and post procedure. Care includes: preparation for procedure, hemodynamic monitoring and procedural sedation intra procedure, and post procedure recovery and discharge.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from Accredited Nursing Program required. BSN/MSN matriculation required within 1 year of hire and completion of degree within 5 years of hire.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
• BLS CPR certification through AHA, Red Cross, or Military training required
• 2 years of ICU stepdown expereince required, ICU or ED expereince preferred
