The Nure Specialist RN- Day Treatmentwill support ourBehavioral Health Dept. and is responsible for contributing to quality patient care through staff development activities. This includes identification of competence requirements for populations served, skills assessment of unit staff prioritization and enhancement of developmental needs.

The Nurse Specialist, RN will develop, encourage, and validate nursing practice in the clinical setting on night shift hours to support the professional growth of novice nurses.

Requirements:

• Licensure as a RN in Maryland or other compact state
• Minimum of 3yrs experience in specialized area
• BSN required; MSN or enrolled in MSN program with commitment to complete within 3 years strong preferred
• Specialty certification preferred; required within 2 years

Hours:

• PRN, 10hrs per week
• Days
